Programs we serve in the community (all free of charge!) -
Rockdale & Newton Parent Support Program - Intensive, weekly in-home evidence-based parenting program which serves parents of children ages 0 - 5 for 3 - 6 months. Services include Case Management, Life Skills, Resources & Referrals, Advocacy, Mentoring, and Educational Supports.
First Steps - An early intervention family support program which works with families whose babies are born at Piedmont Rockdale. It connects new parents with community resources and provides parenting information which strengthens the family and promotes maternal and infant health. Car Seat Safety Classes and Safe Sleep Classes are provided by the First Steps Program.
Educational Support Program - Provides an Educational Support Coordinator who serves as a liaison between families and their child's teacher and Student Success Coaches who work one-on-one with students each week. This program strengthens family engagement while providing educational supports, advocacy, mentoring, resources and referrals.
Family Success Center - Provides concrete resources to families who we are working with at local elementary schools through our Educational Support Program who are in need of assistance. We provide parents with in-home parenting programs and access to our Family Success Center.
